NIC Running at 32 or 64 bit?

Post NIC Running at 32 or 64 bit?
Hi

I'm new to the 64-bit PCI architecture so this question might be silly.  I've got a Gigabit Fiber Optic NIC that supports 32/64 PCI slots.  In order to utilize the full 1000Gbps, the NIC is installed in a PCI-X 64/100MHz slot.

Now, the problem is that I can't get TTCP (Test TCP, for performance measuring, found at Cisco.com) any higher than 700Mbps.  With the integrated 10/100/1000 Intel Pro Gigabit Adapter (twisted pair copper), I was able to reach 900Bps after tweaking the driver.  The copper line is specified to use the PCI-X bus as it is built for the 64-bit architecture.

So, the question is, is there a way to tell if my Fiber NIC is running at 32 or 64-bit mode?  If not, what could be wrong?  The Fiber NIC driver (it's an Intel PRO/1000 MT LX) was also tweaked to similar settings used on the copper unit to achieve 900+ Mbps.

Thanks

Jade

Interesting.  I have  a very nice programmer. I do not understand that allusion. You and your the integrated 101001000 Intel Pro Gigabit Adapter twisted pair copper I was able to reach 900Bps after tweaking the driver. That is a hypothetical question.

What?  That doesn't make sense.

Interesting. I have a lot of answers to silly questions.  Oh you don't, do you? A hypothetical question is a terrible thing to waste. "" does not make sense ?  I get .
