Post Installing XP Professional x64 Edition
In a few days i would like to install my new motherboard and maybe a new video card.
I know windows xp using hardware configs and stuff like that to create activation numbers and if there are too many
components replaced you need to call the microsoft service hotline and get a new number!
I am bit scared to reactivate windows and I don't feel happy about it.
Has anyone had any experience or knowledge of installing a new motherboard under x64?

format the partition 2 times and install Windows XP and you don`t need a new key!

Post Microsoft Product Activation
No experience, but i don`t think it needs no more keys for your hardware! For me it sounds like a bug! The Microsoft Product Activation is part of build 1289.
Windows XP 64 does activate automatically over the internet! Before insalling new hardware it would be a good idea to save all drivers on a cd you will need for your motherboard or video card and set your BIOS so that it boot from the CD first!
